Two Brothers Vending presents The Vending Game The $50K / 6-month story

The next chapter

THE GAME
HAS CHANGED.

The original book captured what we learned building Two Brothers Vending from scratch. The next book will keep the story—but update the playbook for the industry people are entering now.

Why another book?

Because a six-year-old playbook should not pretend the market stood still.

The fundamentals still matter: location, product mix, customer service, contracts, cash flow, route discipline, and knowing your numbers.

But the tools, equipment, payment systems, data, costs, competition, financing environment, and business models have evolved. The next Vending Game will distinguish the durable principles from the things that need a modern update.

Planned territory

What the next book is being built to cover.

The final table of contents is still being developed, but these are the areas we believe a modern operator needs.

01

Modern Startup Economics

Current machine costs, card readers, software, financing, insurance, product inflation, labor, and realistic capital planning.

02

Cashless & Connected Machines

Telemetry, remote inventory, payment systems, data, route efficiency, and what modern technology changes operationally.

03

Micro Markets & New Models

Where traditional vending still fits, where micro markets change the equation, and how to evaluate the right model for a location.

04

Buying Routes & Due Diligence

How to review revenue claims, agreements, machines, concentration risk, route density, and the questions that matter before money changes hands.

05

Winning Better Accounts

Decision-makers, proposals, presentations, government opportunities, private contracts, and selling the business—not just the machine.

06

Systems That Scale

Processes, employees, accountability, cash controls, service standards, route data, and protecting profit as the business grows.

More of the story

The next book should also answer the question people always ask: what happened after the first six months?

We will go deeper into the transition from survival to growth, what the early success did not solve, the mistakes that continued after the headlines, and how the lessons from vending influenced the businesses and careers that came later.

We are intentionally not publishing that full story on the website. The website should make you want to know the rest.
